Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio 11 Updates
I need a JDK for VSCode Java Extension Pack. It wants the Red Hat OpenJDK v11 or later. Despite having installed Oracle JDK v8, 11.0.5, 13.0.1, and 15.0.1 it still wants the one from Red Hat. I'm using Windows. OpenJDK 11 for Windows provides a distribution of OpenJDK that follows the Red Hat Enterprise Linux distribution of OpenJDK as closely as possible on the Microsoft Windows platform. Windows builds use Red Hat Enterprise Linux RPM sources and apply all of the relevant RPM patches. The Red Hat build of OpenJDK. The Red Hat build of OpenJDK is based on the upstream OpenJDK 8u and 11u projects. Red Hat maintains these projects upstream and adds additional future features into our builds that are available for download here. OpenJDK is available to download from the Red Hat Customer Portal. OMSA 9.4.0 web service supports alternative Red Hat OpenJDK 11 updates for both RHEL and Windows. We can't predict at which date the OpenJDK 11.0.3 Windows version is being made available by Red Hat, but if you don't want to wait, you can download the new version immediately from GitHub- OpenJDK11U-x64windows11.0.37.zip:) Regards, Christian.
